What is a cookie?

A cookie is a file downloaded to your terminal equipment or device (computer or mobile phone) in order to store data that can be updated and retrieved by the entity responsible for installing it.

Types

  • Session cookies: cookies designed to collect and store data while you access the website, which remain in the cookie file until you leave it.
  • Persistent cookies: cookies whose data remains stored on the device and can be accessed and processed for a set period of time.
  • First-party cookies: cookies sent to the user’s device from the website itself.
  • Third-party cookies: cookies sent to your computer or device from a domain or web page that is not managed by us but by a partner entity.
  • Technical cookies: cookies needed to browse the website and for it to work properly; for example, they allow its security aspects to be managed.
  • Analytics cookies: cookies that, processed by us or by third parties, allow us to count users and measure and analyse statistically how the website is used.

Cookies used by this website

The website https://apogeo.pro uses one first-party technical cookie and, only if you accept them, the analytics cookies of HubSpot, the tool we use to manage information requests. Fonts and the video are served from the apogeo.pro domain itself. We use no advertising or social media cookies.

Technical cookie (no consent needed)

  • apogeo_consent: first-party, technical. Stores whether you accepted or rejected the analytics cookies, so we do not ask again on every page. Duration: 12 months.

HubSpot analytics cookies (only if you accept them)

They are set by the tracking code of HubSpot, Inc., which only loads after you press “Accept”. They tell us which visits turn into an information request:

  • __hstc: HubSpot, analytics. The main visitor-tracking cookie: it stores the date and time of visits and the session number. Duration: 6 months.
  • hubspotutk: HubSpot, analytics. Identifies the visitor with an opaque code and, if you submit the form, is sent to HubSpot to avoid duplicate contacts. Duration: 6 months.
  • __hssc: HubSpot, analytics. Tracks sessions to know when a new visit starts. Duration: 30 minutes.
  • __hssrc: HubSpot, analytics. Detects whether you have restarted your browser. Duration: until you close the browser (session).
  • __hmpl: HubSpot, analytics, in the browser’s storage (not a cookie). Stores tracking-event data. HubSpot gives no duration; we delete it if you reject or withdraw consent.
  • hublytics_events_53: HubSpot, analytics, in the browser’s storage (not a cookie). Temporarily stores tracking events until they are sent to HubSpot. HubSpot gives no duration; we delete it if you reject or withdraw consent.

HubSpot’s code may also save the entry hs.superstore.laboratory.<identifier> in the browser’s storage, which HubSpot classes as necessary: it holds a local copy of the HubSpot product experiment groups assigned to the visitor. It can only appear after you press “Accept”; HubSpot gives no duration, and we delete it if you reject or withdraw consent.

When HubSpot’s code loads, its network provider may also set, on HubSpot’s domains, technical cookies that protect against bots and abuse: __cf_bm (30 minutes), __cfruid and _cfuvid (until you close the browser).

The names, purposes and durations of HubSpot’s cookies come from its official documentation (What cookies does HubSpot set in a visitor’s browser?, consulted on 24 October 2026).

Consent

The first time you visit the website we show a notice with two identical buttons: “Accept” and “Reject”. Until you choose, HubSpot’s code is not loaded and no analytics cookie is set, and you can use the website as normal.

If you accept, HubSpot’s code loads and sets its analytics cookies. If you reject, it does not load. Either way we store your choice in the apogeo_consent cookie for 12 months; after that, we will ask you again.

You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time with “Cookie settings”, at the foot of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete HubSpot’s analytics cookies and its entries in the browser’s storage, and reload the page so your visit is no longer measured.

In any case, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. These browsers explain how cookies work in their settings and help pages:

  • Firefox
  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Opera

We recommend reviewing this policy each time you visit the website so that you are properly informed of any changes to it.
